Who is this all for after all?

Once you have taken the first few steps of planning your special occasion (see our other blog about first steps after engagement!), you must keep reminding yourselves what this is all for.

You have chosen this big celebration of love and union and we hope its to reflect that you both think your awesome! So lets think of some ways to help showcase that and tell the story of you…

Theme - You don’t need to go cheesey or OTT with this. It could be that one colour or symbol is included that reflects your home, favourite colours, pet dog, tattoo, best holiday… Drop it in there! You don’t even need to tell anyone, it could be something adorable between you two.

Food - On the menu try and include food from a holiday, fave restaurant or takeaway. Food evokes such strong memories and is key to get right for the big day so drop in a nugget of you and make sure you are so excited about eating it on the day!

Music - This isnt just about the First Dance, this is the background tunes or entrance music or general era or vibe. Make a night of creating the playlists for throughout the day.

Styling - We don’t feel there is a wrong way to dress for a wedding. Its all about comfort and confidence. Reflect your individual style in what you wear, accessorise with or beauty services. You love a bold lipped fella normally? Then why not today?!
