In Brief:

Megan’s Mum, Sue, reached out to us well before the wedding to get some guidance and local contacts for a plan beautifully created for Silverholme. Knowing the site well and some awesome contacts for their plans, we got to work. This was primarily consultations throughout the process, going through each element of the weekend, ticking off ‘what if’s’. Then Annabel was there the day before to help with ‘faff day’ and meet key people. The wedding day was glorious, not just for the brilliant team and setting but the weather! As you can see in the images below, the lads went for a dip in the Lake it was that wonderful!

Testimonial from the mother of the bride:

Why did you hunt for a Coordinator?

Annabel was recommended by Charlotte at Karen Rhodes. You don’t know, what you don’t know when planning a wedding especially a DIY one – so you needs some-one alongside you who does it all of the time.

How did you find Annabel?

Charlotte gave me the details

What made you choose Annabel for your wedding?

She was highly recommended

What was the most difficult part of planning a wedding?

Wasn’t difficult – it just took time and effort.

What are your key memories from the day?

It was magical and everything and more that the bride and groom had asked for

Would you change anything?

A little selfishly I would have allowed a bit more time for ‘me’ to get ready. The morning of the wedding was busy; full on and hard on your feet. I’d completed 15,000 steps before the ceremony.

How was having Annabel there throughout the event?

Brilliant; awesome; fantastic. My right-hand person – who just made things happen. In an effortless way. Things changed, such as the timing of the groom and best-mans speech – but no drama – just made it happen and we had the fizz with the first dance.

What advice would you give others planning a DIY style wedding?

Don’t under estimate the time; effort and cost but the outcome is spectacular and can be precisely what the bride and groom want

Would you recommend Annabel?

In a heart-beat.
