Annabel started working with the couple when they knew that a DIY wedding was becoming a little more time consuming and dauting than expected. All the plans were coming along wonderfully though and just a few notes and chats made a difference.

Planning a wedding from a distance can be challenging even with a pro team like at Townhead Estates. Many couples can feel overwhelmed by the options and how to make decisions when they don’t know the venue in depth or local suppliers. Helen and Joe came with such great ideas and the vibe was always going to be fun yet chilled. They achieved this by ensuring there was elegant lighting and decor, beautiful music and food. Annabel commented:

“The couples were very determined to host a Winter wedding but without the Xmas feel. We therefore discussed having subtle tones of green and white adorning the main room, mingled with pretty lighting. The barn at the venue is very decorative already so I feel the key is not to fight against that if you love a simple palette. You could go for bold contrast which works against this venue’s look but keep true to your own personal style. The look of a wedding should reflect personal tastes as well as working with the site.”

Annabel’s role beyond the consultations to help with planning was to ensure flow of the day and assist with any of the suppliers. Despite the weather trying to dampen spirits, it couldn’t! The mood was loving and joyous and the guests relished each moment alongside the couple.

After the wedding the couple embarked on a world tour to really enjoy time together and explore!
